"Test Winner once again!"
Louis.de receives Tourenfahrer endorsement *
"Tourenfahrer" motorcycle magazine tested nine online shops for motorcycle clothing and accessories in its December 2015 issue. To ensure objectivity, the shops were tested in accordance with the K7 criteria established by the University of St. Gallen. Test orders and test emails were used as a further measure of the candidates' efficiency, quality of service and expertise.
This in-depth testing method produced an unambiguous result: Louis has the best online shop.
The key areas where louis.de scored highly in the test were: clear, intuitive structure, wide range of products offered with good descriptions and 360° viewing facility, high level of availability of products, speed of shipping, and an extensive service section. So it's no surprise that the Louis Online Shop was the only one to be awarded the "Tourenfahrer Recommendation".

MOTORRAD, Europe's biggest motorcycle magazine, tested online shops for motorcycle clothing and accessories (test report: issue 2/2015). The editorial team came to the conclusion, just like last time, that Louis offers the best online shop.
It was particularly praised for its large selection, clear page structure, helpful product info and presentation, fast and correct answers to customer questions, speedy delivery and smooth processing of returns.

Mail Order Company of the Year 2011
Louis was crowned “Mail Order Company of the Year” at the German Mail Order Congress 2011 in Wiesbaden. This prize is to the German mail order industry what the Oscars are to the film industry: the biggest and most important award of the year. Louis joins a prestigious list of former winners including such names as Globetrotter, Tchibo and Conrad.
In the final, Louis was up against the companies Cyperport and MyToys. Tipping the balance in Louis’s favour in the end was not only the “highly motivated and well-trained employees”, but also the firm’s “well-conceived range of products, a young and modern organisation and a high-tech warehousing and logistics centre”.
Lifetime Award for Detlev Louis personally!
In fact, we have reason to be doubly proud, as Detlev Louis (1919-2012) himself was honoured with the “Lifetime Award” for his lifetime business achievements. In the words of the jury, his business success was based on the same principles as his career as a motorcycle racer: A race is won in your head, on the track and as a team. He was THE pioneer in Germany when it came to pursuing new sales channels, and remains an example to all retailers to this day.
